New Century Health Supports Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island with Comprehensive Oncology Management Services

New Century Health manages the cost and quality of oncology care for Neighborhood’s 210,000 members across the health plan’s Medicaid, Medicare-Medicaid, and commercial lines of business. 

New Century Health, a national leader in specialty care management, is proud to provide comprehensive oncology specialty management services to Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (Neighborhood), a not-for-profit HMO serving one in five Rhode Islanders. The partnership, which began in September 2020 and marked New Century Health’s expansion into the state of Rhode Island, ensures that Neighborhood’s members diagnosed with cancer receive high-quality cancer care across Neighborhood’s network of nearly 7,000 providers.

New Century Health manages the cost and quality of oncology care for Neighborhood’s 210,000 members, including medical, radiation oncology services and genomic testing across the health plan’s Medicaid, Medicare-Medicaid, and commercial lines of business. New Century Health’s comprehensive oncology management program is based on deep provider engagement around evidence-based clinical pathways, peer-to-peer specialist consultations and aligned payment models.
